The Thanksgiving Note Project 2015 (prize update!)

As a "means of seeing what people were thankful for, and to spread a bit of happiness around because it's nice to remember what it is we have to be thankful for in the first place", the Thanksgiving Note Project was created by ikazon many, many years ago.

Regardless of whether you live in a country that celebrates Thanksgiving or not, I'm sure you know what the word suggests! And following in the steps of ikazon and then Exillior, I will be hosting this fantastic project this year.

But what is the Thanksgiving Note Project?

you send me a note (the length and form is up to you! I need it in English, but if you feel inclined to make it a poem, you are welcome to do so ) telling me what or who you are thankful for!

to show my thanks to you participants, I will be collecting prizes all throughout November.

after November is over I will feature ALL NOTES (with the sender's name removed, because it's not about the person but about the message!) in news articles.

and I will distribute prizes among participants, completely at random.

please note! this project is just a nice way to show my thanks to you, and for you to show YOUR thanks to the special people/things in your life. It's not a contest for who has the best note, so... be truthful, open and honest - that's the best note right there!

So how do I take part?

Just send me ( TheMaidenInBlack ) a note titled "Thanksgiving Note Project", "Thanksgiving Project", or just "Project" - well whatever you want just as long as I understand it - and tell me about the important people/things you are thankful for!

How much time do I have to submit?

Well, until November 30th.  Because of time zones, I won't be super strict and accept notes a few hours after the deadline.
